Structure that shows itself slowly.
Our Howell Mountain vineyard is planted as a Bordeaux-style vineyard, bringing multiple Bordeaux varieties together from a single mountain site.
Above the Napa Valley fog line, Howell Mountain's shallow volcanic soils, elevation, and naturally low fertility create small berries and concentrated fruit. The vineyard gives us multiple varieties from the same terroir, allowing us to build a wine around the structure and character of the site rather than a single grape variety.
